Oss-Nor AS provides specialized Valve Services and Tubular Services for offshore, oil & gas, and energy companies worldwide. Since 1983, we have delivered inspection, maintenance, testing, recertification, hardbanding, OCTG services, and tubular management solutions from our facilities in Norway.

Tubular services

  • Professional hardbanding services for drill pipe, heavy weight drill pipe, and drill collars. Using proven hardbanding solutions, we help extend equipment life, reduce wear, and improve drilling performance.

  • Comprehensive drill pipe inspections performed to industry standards. Services include visual inspection, dimensional measurements, MPI, and other required inspections to ensure equipment integrity and operational safety.

  • Inspection, maintenance, repair, and handling of Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG). We help customers maximize the service life and reliability of critical tubular assets.

  • Complete tubular management solutions including inspection coordination, maintenance planning, repair tracking, logistics coordination, and asset history management.

  • Machining and restoration of damaged tool joints and connection faces to restore equipment to required tolerances and specifications.

  • Professional bucking and make-up services with high-capacity equipment capable of up to 150,000 ft-lb torque.

  • Oss-Nor performs valve testing and certification in accordance with customer and industry requirements. We ensure valves meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards before returning them to service.

  • Inspection, testing, maintenance, and recertification of pressure safety valves. Our PSV services help operators maintain compliance while ensuring safe and reliable operation of critical pressure protection systems.

  • Comprehensive visual and dimensional inspections to identify wear, damage, corrosion, and operational issues before they impact performance. Inspection reports provide customers with clear recommendations and documentation.

AMRIC-services

What is AMRIC?

  • DNV Certified in accordance with Class Programme DNVGL-CP-0484 (AoSS)

  • Purpose designed inspection system based on advanced Phased Array ultrasonic technology.

  • Allows complete riser inspection without the requirement of stripping the riser body or removing the riser from stack.

  • Performing corrosion and wall thickness mapping on riser main tube and C/K and booster lines. 

  • Weld inspection of all splice welds on main tube, C/K and booster lines.
